Biography

Laura Pennesi was born in Camerino in the province of Macerata in 1960. Her studies had nothing to do with her passion and therefore she began as a self-taught.
Her great love for art leads her to attend various painting courses which stimulate her curiosity and continuous research into different materials and techniques.
For years he has been involved in scenographic installations and creations, collaborating with organizations, municipalities and universities for events and shows and simultaneously teaching in a school of theater workshops.
Fascinated by color, wood, clay, she loves everything that takes shape under her hands.
She began her pictorial journey when one of life’s turning points forced her to slow down and reflect on herself, leading her to intertwine color, images and emotions, transforming her identity which is constantly evolving.
